Multiplayer
You guys were asking for it, it turned out to be less work than I thought it might be so it's here. You can fish with other people now. This is the big one, and it is entirely optional: every single thing in the game still works exactly as it did if you never touch it.
Start a session from the Multiplayer button on the boot menu, or from the Multiplayer app on the desktop. You can host a public session that anyone can find in the browser, or a friends only one, and you can put a password on it. You name your session when you create it, and that name is what other people see in the list.
Up to six people share a session. You will see everyone else's boats out on the water, moving where their owners send them. The host can remove someone from their session if they need to.
Steam's friends list works the way you would expect. If a friend is hosting, Join Game brings you straight in, even if the game is not running yet.
Expect bugs!

Sessions come with a chat client. It opens itself when a session starts, floats above your other windows so it does not get buried, and folds down into a single bar when you want it out of the way. Folded, it shows the last thing anyone said and a count of what you have missed.
You get eight name colours to pick from, and an emoji picker.
Hold shift and click a fish, a piece of treasure, a boat or a rod, and it drops into your message as a link. Anyone in the session can click it to see the card. They see it from their own game, so a species you have caught and they have not still reads correctly for them.
Whatever anyone says floats above their boat for a few seconds.

eBait, late game
If you have been sitting on Black Pearls with nothing to spend them on, there is somewhere for them to go now.
Overclock is a new eBait item that lifts the level ten cap on eight of the percentage lines, so they keep going past ten instead of stopping. Keepsake has been repriced. Pearl Reserve is a new item that pays out based on the Black Pearls you are holding, so banking them is worth something on its own.
Prestige
Prestige is a true run reset now. Run based progress and your boats reset with it, and your collection resets too. Keepsake carries your locked fish over. Let me know if this feels harsh, there's an eBait upgrade to save some fish.
Pop-ups
The desktop gets pop-ups again, the way the Roblox version does, every three to five minutes. There is a Pop-Up Gallery that collects the ones you have seen. All submitted from the community. I will add attribution.
Catches
Every zone plays its own twist on the catch dial now, and the Strike tuning is harder across the board.
Auto Clicker
A new eBait line that clicks for you. Fish only.
Fixes
A late game save that had been away a few hours could open to a white screen and nothing else. That is fixed, and it was the worst bug in the build.
The Net's status bar goes quiet when a page has finished loading instead of continuing to announce it.
