■ Redesigned Main Menu
- Consolidated the trial-start menu into a single "Play" button. Tapping it lets you choose between Criminal Trial (1st Instance), Appeal, and Pre-Detention Hearing.
- Simplified the trial mode selection screen (after starting a 1st-instance trial) down to two options: "Start Full Trial (Random Order)" and "Case Select (Practice Mode)."
- You can now press ESC to go back on these menu screens.

■ Expanded Keyboard Controls
- On the sentencing screen, use WASD or the arrow keys to move between options, and Space or Enter to select.
- The detention decision screen in the Pre-Detention Hearing mode supports the same keyboard controls.
- You can press ESC to cancel the sentencing confirmation popup ("Are you sure you want to sentence X?").

■ Greatly Enhanced Tutorial
- Now explains dialogue progression, the Evidence/Summary buttons, the law card, keyboard controls on the sentencing screen, and how to use the number pad, all in detail.
- A glowing highlight now appears around whichever button is being explained.

■ Pre-Detention Hearing Improvements
- Significantly expanded the prosecutor/defense back-and-forth, making hearings noticeably longer.
- Increased text size across the screen.

■ Other Improvements
- Enlarged the text and buttons on the Appeal's "Confirming the Original Ruling" screen.
- Added automatic recovery for occasional background music dropouts.
