Wow, I published this to a dark corner of the internet and it seems to have taken off! ːsteamhappyː
I've gotten a lot of questions about the locomotion mechanic on this so I decided to share that with everyone in hopes of empowering the VR community to create more experiences like this.
This started as a personal side-project and has evolved into HVR. I'm so grateful for all of the support so far, but given that I'm just one guy working on this part-time, I can't possibly keep up with the demands of the gaming community without help. In the meantime, I'm hoping that other full-time studios could use this information to really give these types of experiences the love it deserves. There's a lot of room in the VR space for experimentation so I'm excited to see how this mechanic gets used.
Please upvote my post if you enjoyed it. I'm still a reddit newbie so I can't post in many subreddits.
