Two small changes make the broadcast timeline faster and easier to use.
Upcoming programs can now be removed directly from their schedule blocks, while every block displays a clear content-type icon next to its title. Both improvements work across desktop and mobile, including the narrowest schedule blocks.
Remove Programs in One Tap
You no longer need to open the inspector just to clear a scheduled program.
Every upcoming program block now has a small × button in the top-right corner.
Click it and the program is removed immediately.
Past and currently airing programs remain locked, matching the existing scheduling rules.
Content-Type Icons at a Glance
Every program block now shows its content type directly next to the title.
You'll see:
🎞️ Movie — film reel
📺 Show — TV
🎙️ Talk — microphone
🏆 Live Event — trophy
The icons are color-coded by genre, making it easier to scan a full day's schedule without reading every title.
Even very narrow blocks now display the icon, so a short 30-minute slot is still immediately identifiable.
Designed for Every Screen
The new controls have been sized specifically for tight schedule layouts.
On mobile, even a typical 30–60 minute block can display its icon, title, time range, and removal button without overlapping.
Wide desktop blocks continue to use their existing cover artwork as a richer visual identifier.
No Changes to Scheduling Rules
These are purely interface improvements.
Existing:
Drag-and-drop scheduling
Daypart rules
Program timing
Inspector controls
Live and completed slot behavior
all work exactly as before.
Why Add Inline Controls?
The timeline is where you spend most of your time building your lineup, so simple actions shouldn't require unnecessary trips to another panel.
A direct × button makes removing a program a one-step action, while inline type icons make the schedule easier to scan.
Less clicking. Faster scheduling. A clearer timeline.
