Today's update gives TV Station Tycoon a complete visual overhaul.
Every screen now follows a unified control-room aesthetic, with custom panels, icons, textures, cursors, navigation, and a rebuilt Rival Stations leaderboard. The mobile experience has also been refined to stay clean and responsive across different screen sizes.
A Unified Visual Language
The entire interface now uses a consistent visual system across the game.
Panels, cards, buttons, schedule slots, Marketplace listings, sponsor contracts, production cards, and campaigns now share the same visual language, with dedicated states for default, hover, active, and completed interactions.
The result is a UI that feels less like a collection of separate screens and more like one connected control room.
A New Control-Room Aesthetic
The interface now has a stronger broadcasting-control-room atmosphere.
You'll see subtle:
Scanline effects on monitor and readout surfaces
Grid textures across structural panels
Noise textures adding depth to larger dark surfaces
Custom mouse cursors for normal, clickable, and draggable interactions
A redesigned scrollbar with normal, hover, and dragging states
These effects are deliberately subtle, keeping the interface readable while giving the station a stronger visual identity.
Custom Icons Across the Game
The game now features a new family of custom 64×64 icons designed specifically for TV Station Tycoon.
They cover everything from everyday actions like search, filter, edit, and delete to game-specific concepts such as:
Licensing & production
Genres & demographics
Momentum & churn
Sponsors & contracts
News, cameras, microphones, and broadcasting
Warnings, errors, success states, and achievements
Navigation, section headers, statistics, and other important UI elements now share the same icon language.
Rival Stations V2
The Rival Stations leaderboard has been completely rebuilt.
The new board displays 30 rival stations in a compact, information-rich layout.
Each station now shows:
Rank and tier
Currently airing program
Live viewer count
A 7-day viewership sparkline
Clear visual distinction between different station tiers
The top three positions receive special rank badges, while the player gets a dedicated "You" highlight.
And when your station scrolls out of view, a sticky assist bar appears at the bottom of the screen, keeping your rank, station name, and viewer count visible.
You always know where you stand.
A Redesigned Desktop Navigation
The desktop navigation has also been rebuilt into a dedicated control-room rail.
Each section now has:
A custom icon
Clear labels
Dedicated hover and active states
Section dividers
A compact scrollbar that doesn't interfere with the layout
The navigation should feel more structured and easier to scan while moving between different areas of your station.
Mobile Improvements
The overhaul also includes a significant mobile pass.
The Rival Stations leaderboard now automatically reflows into a compact layout designed for smaller screens, while page containers have been updated to prevent accidental horizontal scrolling.
The tutorial overlay has also been redesigned with better spacing and safe-area support, making it work more reliably on phones with notches and bottom navigation areas.
Why a Full Visual Rebuild?
TV Station Tycoon is a game about managing a lot of information — schedules, viewers, content, sponsors, production, and competitors.
That makes readability and consistency especially important.
This overhaul gives the game a much stronger identity: a unified visual language, custom iconography, a darker control-room atmosphere, and a Rival Stations screen that makes competitive information easier to understand.
The goal wasn't simply to make the UI look different.
It's to make the entire game feel like one broadcasting system built for you to run.
