Today's update significantly expands the content library, giving your station more variety and more room to experiment with different programming strategies.
The catalog grows from 115 to 165 titles, with new Movies, Shows, and Talk Shows across a wide range of genres. Episodic content also gets a tighter 12-episode maximum, making series easier to rotate and giving the expanded catalog more room to shine.
50 New Titles Across Every Genre
The catalog now includes 50 additional titles:
10 new Movies
30 new Shows
10 new Talk Shows
New content expands a wide range of genres, including Sports, Kids, SciFi, Horror, Comedy, Romance, Drama, Documentary, Reality, News, and Action.
Every genre now has more options, while Talk Shows receive additional variety for daytime and late-night programming.
Shows Now Cap at 12 Episodes
Every Show and Talk Series — new and existing — now has a maximum of 12 episodes.
Previously, some series could stretch beyond 14 episodes, making it possible for a single title to occupy the same programming slot for a long time before cycling back.
The new cap creates a tighter content cycle:
Episodes rotate more quickly
Repeats become more meaningful
Popularity and fatigue systems matter more
No single series can dominate your schedule for too long
Existing series with more than 12 episodes have been safely trimmed to the new limit.
New Titles Have Their Own Popularity Tiers
The new titles come with hand-tuned base popularity values, giving them clear positions across the content price curve.
You'll find everything from affordable programming and useful filler content to high-popularity prestige titles.
License costs continue to follow the same popularity-based pricing system, so a new title with popularity 85 fits naturally alongside existing content at the same tier.
More Variety in the Marketplace
The expanded catalog has also been rebalanced so the additional content actually reaches your station.
The Starting Library continues to provide a diverse opening lineup across Movies, Shows, and Talk Shows, with genre diversity and popularity tiers taken into account.
The weekly Marketplace now has a much larger pool of titles to draw from, giving you more variety and reducing the feeling that you're seeing the same content over and over.
Existing Saves Are Safe
Existing saves will migrate automatically.
Your licensed content, schedule, and airing history remain intact, while series affected by the new 12-episode limit are safely adjusted to the new episode range.
If an existing save references an episode that no longer exists, the game will automatically resolve it to a valid episode instead of causing errors.
You can continue your current station without starting over.
A Bigger Library for Longer Campaigns
With 165 titles instead of 115, your station now has roughly 40% more content to work with.
That means:
More options when building your schedule
More room to rotate tired content
Better coverage across every genre
More meaningful Marketplace choices
Less repetition during longer campaigns
Combined with the new 12-episode cap, the catalog should feel both larger and more manageable.
Why Expand the Catalog?
Variety is at the heart of a scheduling tycoon game. As your station grows, you need enough content to keep making meaningful choices rather than repeatedly cycling through the same titles.
Adding 50 new titles gives the catalog significantly more depth, while the 12-episode limit keeps individual series from taking over your schedule for too long.
The expanded Marketplace and starting library make sure that variety reaches you from the beginning, while safe save migration means existing stations can benefit without starting from scratch.
More content, more rotation, and more reasons to check the Marketplace every week.
