We've made a number of changes to make the first hours of running your TV station smoother, clearer, and more enjoyable.
This update introduces a new interactive tutorial, tycoon-style speed controls, daily station reports, and several early-game balance changes — including a larger starting budget, a first-week ad revenue bonus, and discounted content licenses.
Interactive Tutorial (9 Steps)
New stations now start with a 9-step guided tutorial covering the basics of running your network.
You'll learn how to:
Schedule content
Add advertising slots
Understand revenue
Browse the marketplace
Start your first broadcast
Each step requires you to actually perform the action before moving on, so the tutorial focuses on learning by doing rather than simply reading instructions.
The tutorial can be skipped at any time for returning players.
Tycoon Speed Controls (Pause / 1× / 2× / 3×)
The game now runs with full real-time speed controls.
Pause the game while planning your schedule, or choose 1×, 2×, or 3× to let the day progress at your preferred pace.
The in-game clock moves smoothly through all 144 daily ten-minute slots.
When a day ends, the game automatically pauses so you never miss your daily report. Simply resume at your previous speed when you're ready.
Daily Station Report
Every day now ends with a comprehensive station report.
The report shows:
Total viewers
Revenue and profit/loss
Best and worst performing programs
Prime-time performance
Spending breakdown
Analysis of what influenced the day's results
The goal is to make it easier to understand why your station performed the way it did and adjust your strategy before the next broadcast day.
Doubled Starting Budget
New stations now begin with $200,000, up from $100,000.
This gives you more room to license your opening lineup, schedule prime-time content, and make early upgrades without running out of cash during the first few days.
First-Week Starter Bonus (+20% Ad Revenue)
For your first 7 in-game days, all ad revenue is increased by 20%.
This temporary bonus gives new stations a chance to build an initial cash cushion while learning the core systems.
The bonus ends automatically after day seven.
New Station Licensing Subsidy (50% Off First 3 Titles)
Your first three marketplace purchases are now available at 50% off.
This makes it easier to build a complete opening schedule without spending most of your starting budget on licensing.
The subsidy is tracked automatically, with a "New Station subsidy -50%!" confirmation shown when purchasing eligible content.
Why These Changes?
The first few days are critical for new players.
We wanted to make it easier to understand the core gameplay loop while still keeping the long-term economy and progression intact.
The new tutorial teaches the fundamentals by letting you play through them, speed controls let you learn at your own pace, and daily reports make the consequences of your decisions much clearer.
The increased starting budget, temporary ad revenue bonus, and licensing subsidy then give new stations enough breathing room to establish their first successful broadcast schedule.
The long-term economy remains unchanged — these improvements are focused on making the opening experience clearer, smoother, and more welcoming.
