Ember Kingdom 2.0 is now live!
Version 2.0 is a major consolidation update that brings together a large number of changes and improvements accumulated from version 1.1 through 2.0.
Along with new DLC support, I have revisited class talents, interface flow, combat information, and many smaller gameplay details to make the overall experience smoother.
Major Updates
- DLC Support Added The game now supports Ember Kingdom – Pixel Art Style Pack. Once installed, you can play with a new pixel art presentation and 8-BIT-style music without affecting gameplay, character power, or game balance.
- Extensive Talent Balance Changes Values, trigger conditions, progression, and synergies across classes and talent branches have been reviewed. Talents that were too strong, too weak, or rarely selected have been adjusted to give different builds more room to shine.
- UI/UX Improvements Information hierarchy, buttons, prompts, navigation flow, text readability, and many interface details have been improved to reduce unnecessary friction.
- Combat Experience Improvements Combat information, visual feedback, prompts, and controls have been refined to make battles clearer and smoother.
- Gameplay & Stability Improvements A variety of issues reported since version 1.1 have been fixed, along with further improvements to stability, interface details, and the overall experience.
Version 2.0 is more than a single-feature update—it brings together the improvements made throughout this development period.
