Thank you for playing Avatar Quest Online.
The game is now on sale on Steam in English and Simplified Chinese. Each in-game language has its own server (world).
Along with this, we have greatly updated the game content as ver0.6.0.
Town building: resident hearts and Town Reputation
- Residents now give off 💗 hearts depending on how happy they are with their life. Walk up to them to collect the hearts.
- Collecting hearts raises your Town Reputation level, which rewards you with shards, crystals and weapons, and lets more residents live in your town.
- New blueprints unlock as your reputation grows (Lv2 Campsite / Lv4 Tavern / Lv6 Inn / Lv8 Watchtower Gate).
- Residents go to work at nearby fields, stoves and workbenches. They harvest ripe crops into your storage and replant the seeds. Some residents also cook at the campfire.
- Residents now talk about what they need (a bed, a place to eat, light, more furniture) and about their favorite furniture, so you can tell what to build next.
- When you complete a resident's request, they thank you with hearts.
- When a room becomes "luxurious", it is celebrated with confetti.
- A new "Residents" tab in the item menu lists each resident's home, favorite furniture and needs.
- New room types: Parlor, Tavern and Campsite.
- As your reputation grows, more flags appear around your base marker.
Rebuilt furniture
- Furniture has been rebuilt with real shapes: legs, drawers, blankets, shelves full of books, fire in the stove and more.
- Furniture automatically turns its back to the wall, and chairs face the table. Paintings, clocks, mirrors and blackboards hang on the wall.
- 12 new pieces of furniture (Campfire, Cauldron, Round Table, Wooden Bench, Stool, Blue Bed, Closet, Candlestick, Flower Vase, Rug, Signboard, Firewood Pile).
- Fixed a bug where the floor under furniture disappeared and you could see through it.
Cooking
- Aim at a stove, cooktop or campfire and press confirm (Ⓐ / Enter) to open the cooking menu.
- You can also cook at a campfire, so you can make meals outdoors.
Weapons and items
- You now keep one weapon per type. When you pick up a weapon of higher rarity, your weapon of that type is upgraded to that rarity. Enhancements (such as +1) are kept.
- Weapons of the same or lower rarity are salvaged into shards when picked up. "Weapon bag is full" no longer happens.
- Duplicate weapons you already have will be merged into one automatically the next time you log in, and the rest become shards.
- Items other than weapons now go straight into your storage.
Arenas and performance
- Villagers no longer enter the Nihonbashi arena.
- Further reduced stutters after a round ends and when defeating opponents.
- Removed the stutter when residents appear as you enter a town.
We will keep improving the game based on your feedback. Thank you for your continued support.
