KN Tower: Bigger, Busier, Better - Update Overview

It has been a wild time since the release of KN Tower.

Since launch, we have already released several smaller updates based on your feedback. Some of the changes below are already live, while the larger part of this update is planned to arrive later this week, as soon as we have completed our final testing.

For the sake of completeness, we want to give you an overview of the most important improvements since release.

This update is another step toward the best version of KN Tower.

We have focused on what matters most: your experience. Expect major quality-of-life improvements, deeper management, expanded Steam features, performance upgrades and fixes that make building your skyscraper empire smoother and more rewarding.

And we are only getting started.

Update after update, with no end in sight - because a better tower means a better player experience.

🚇 More Content, More Life

• The new Metro Station brings visitors into your tower several times per day.
• New variants for snack bars and hotel rooms give you more choice when designing your tower.
• Parking spaces now fill and empty as visitors arrive and leave.
• New Steam Achievements reward construction progress, population growth, hotel management and other milestones.

📋 Deeper Building & Hotel Management

Your tower now reacts much more strongly to how well you manage it.

• Neglected apartments and offices can lose their occupants.
• Announced move-outs can still be prevented if you improve the unit in time.
• Abandoned units can be renovated and used again.
• Hotel rooms can deteriorate if they remain dirty for too long and may require renovation.
• Hotel cleaning priorities have been improved so rooms waiting the longest are handled more reliably.
• Fires and riots now have a stronger impact on affected units.
• The overall condition of your tower now plays a bigger role in your score.

🛗 Better Elevators & Easier Building

• Passengers are distributed more intelligently between available elevator cabins.
• Elevator cabins can now be assigned a resting floor and return there when idle.
• Buildings and elevator shafts are easier to align with existing structures.
• Stairs and escalators now work more naturally across both connected floors.
• The Metro Station warns you if visitors cannot reach it.

🖥️ Clearer & Easier to Use

• Menus and management windows have received a visual overhaul.
• The tutorial is now much shorter and easier to follow.
• Satisfaction and rating values are now also shown as numbers.
• Similar notifications are grouped together to reduce clutter.
• Budget overview and controller navigation have been improved.
• Language support has grown from 15 to 45 languages.

🎬 New Cinematic Look

• A new optional cinematic visual mode gives your tower a more intense and atmospheric look.
• You can also adjust the color temperature yourself - perfect for screenshots, videos or simply enjoying your tower in a different style.

🎨 More Polish, Better Atmosphere

• Several buildings have received updated models, textures and preview images.
• Night lighting, character placement, riot visuals, music and building sounds have also been improved to make the tower feel more alive.

📡 Better Streaming Integration

• Twitch, Kick and YouTube can now be connected at the same time.
• Streaming connections remain active when starting a game, and chat events and connection states are easier to see.

To our first players, early supporters and everyone who took a chance on KN Tower right after release: your support means more to us than you probably realize.

Your ideas, suggestions, bug reports, discussions and feedback are actively shaping the game. 💡

Many of the improvements in this update started with a message, a Steam discussion, a bug report or simply someone saying:

"Wouldn't it be cool if..."

We read your feedback, we discuss it, and whenever possible, we turn it into something that makes KN Tower better.

The support since release has been incredible, and seeing people build their towers, share ideas and help us improve the game gives us even more motivation to keep pushing forward.

KN Tower would not be where it is today without its community.

The larger part of this update will be released later this week, once the final round of testing is complete.
