Every card in the single-player turn-based game Shanhai Exorcist: Yin-Yang Chronicles has a Yin face and a Yang face. Flipping changes both its cost and effect, so it is not a free upgrade—it is a choice between two roles.
A defensive card can become an attack, and a setup card can become its payoff at the right moment. Enemies reveal attacks, defenses, counters, and disruptive actions in advance. Read the threat, then decide whether to play, flip, or preserve your Taiji state and Qi for the next sequence.
Four schools take that shared rule in different directions: Sword Cultivator manages Unsheathe and Sheathe, Five Phases arranges Generation and Overcoming, Summoner controls positions and Sacrifices, and Karma waits for its Debts to mature before settling them.
Shanhai Exorcist: Yin-Yang Chronicles launches on August 12, 2026, with English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese support. Add it to your wishlist, and tell us: would you keep a card for defense, or flip it to chase a finishing turn?
