Leader updates
Captain Cade always knew what he was for: he holds a column together, and his trait pushes that same idea further. The rest of the free leaders didn't have that. They had stat lines and a name.
This update rebuilds every one of them.
Mira, Aspiring Arbalest
Mira never targets adjacent enemies, she gives ground and keeps firing.
She evades the very first attack against her outright, and every attack aimed at her after that grants +1 move speed for 2s and +2 AGI, up to +10.
Hunt her and you only make her faster.
Penitent Grim
Patience is the weapon.
Grim gets -25% SPD, but +40% splash damage
Grim gains +1 ATK for every second he does not attack, up to +8.
Grim also revives, and keeps the ATK he had banked — the wait carries over into the second life.
Pip, Who Trades Toys
Pip picks something off every ally who falls.
The rewards stack as the bodies pile up:
1 death: +1 RNG · 3: +3 ATK · 5: +25% SPD · 7: +4 ALL · 9: +5 ATK
A losing fight is the fight where Pip grows up.
Vellum Blankpage
Vellum now starts every battle already carrying a spell 'Quill', and gains +10% SPD.
No more hoping to shop reroll into a missing piece.
Four Eyes
Punching him hurts. When a basic attack crits Four Eyes, the attacker takes 3 true damage straight back. He also gains +1 STR or AGI after every battle — which one is up to the fight.
Alchemist Belwick
Belwick doesn't hit hard.
He changes what everyone near him is doing.
Allies adjacent to Belwick deal 25% less direct damage, but every hit they land laces the target with poison, ticking once a second for 3 seconds. Less up front, more on the way out.
Greedy Tebb
Four hand slots!
Tebb can dual-wield two-handers, ignores gear requirements entirely, and gains +1 STR for every hand item he's carrying. Load him up.
Ivo, Celebrated Negotiator
Ivo is a broker, not a hoarder.
He carries three trinkets, and every ally in his row gains half of his non-spell trinket bonuses.
Park him in a full row and the whole rank drinks from his collection.
New Units
Ossuary Wright (14g, Bone Host)
Watch: hiring this unit grants a Bone Hurler.
Can ATK if no Bone Hurler is in this unit’s aura.
Watch Aura: +25% SPD and +4 HP regen to adjacent Bone Hurlers.
Bone Hurler
Emplaced: can not move or EVA. Can not have AR.
Spent Bones: can ATK once per allied skeleton death.
RNG 4 turret. 5/1/0, 30 HP, 12 ATK.
House Songleader (22g, Belowborn)
Count Off Lads: +1 RNG. 18 MP, 7s CD to summon a geared Dwarf Midget near this unit (up to 4).
Chorus Morale Aura: +2 HP regen to allies within 2 cells.
Other Updates
Max RNG is now 8 from 4
(Basically removing max RNG as a balance crutch)
New artwork!
About 10 units have modified artwork and new poses
Some units now carry a small counter in the corner of their art, so you can read their state at a glance during a fight. Pip's shows his trophy count. The Bone Hurler's shows remaining ammo.
Lots of small balance updates. You can review the patch notes in Discord to see them all.
Changes to about 10 items
