Update 1.13 — Controller Comfort & Mac Fullscreen
Thanks to everyone testing the demo during the run-up to Next Fest — a big batch of your controller and Mac feedback just went live. If you play on a gamepad or on a Mac, this one's for you.
🎯 Smarter controller aiming
Magnetic cursor — the on-screen pointer now gently snaps onto nearby hotspots, so landing on those small HUD buttons with a stick is finally effortless. Push away and it lets go instantly — no fighting it.
Hover tooltips on controller — labels now pop up as you glide the pointer over hotspots, just like with a mouse.
Droid View labels — the deflector, master key, sickle bait, forcefield, ladder, emergency teleport and Level-Up slots now show tooltips too.
🕹️ Controller fixes
"Select Star System" dropdown now opens with A / ✕ and is fully D-pad navigable.
Galaxy Chart is now reachable with the pointer even when opened from the Quick Menu.
Radar toggle can now be mapped to a button of your choice in the remap screen.
Level complete — press the main action button (A / ✕) on the "Droid en route" screen to jump straight to the next system.
Ready screen — any button now starts the level; no more nudging the pointer first.
🖥️ Mac fullscreen
The in-game fullscreen button now goes properly edge-to-edge on macOS (menu bar and window chrome hidden), instead of just maximizing a window.
We read every note — keep the feedback coming in the forums and Discussions. If you're enjoying the demo, the best thing you can do to help is:
