Marshals,
This update introduces Twin Passes, a new 1v1 map, and Moonlit Watchtower, an Arrow Tower skin that can be permanently unlocked with Valor.
New Features
New 1v1 Map: Twin Passes
Each all-human 1v1 match now selects its map independently, including custom matches:
- A 10% chance of playing on Twin Passes.
- A 90% chance of playing on Royal Field.
Matches with bots still use Royal Field, and the 2v2 map remains unchanged.
A central ridge divides Twin Passes into two long lanes connected at both ends. Flank deployment zones remain available along the outer edges.
Units and buildings cannot be deployed on the ridge. Ground troops must go around it, while flying units can cross directly and ranged attacks can fire across it.
Twin Passes: Starting Fortifications and Terrain-Aware Targeting
Each side starts with 2 Arrow Towers and 2 Walls, positioned in front of its strongholds across the two lanes. Their positions are visible to both players from the first round, and these fortifications can be sold, commended, or modified under the usual rules.
Ground troops account for the distance around the ridge when choosing a target. Targeting arrows during deployment also account for terrain.
Targets already within attack range across the ridge can still be attacked directly.
New Arrow Tower Skin: Moonlit Watchtower
Added Moonlit Watchtower to the Store for a permanent unlock of 8,000 Valor. Existing accounts do not receive the skin automatically.
The base Arrow Tower and both its Archer Garrison and Repeating Ballista modification routes each have a matching appearance.
The skin changes appearance only and does not affect combat stats.
Thank you for your continued support and feedback.
See you on the battlefield, Marshals!
