This update covers versions 1.0.3 and 1.0.4.
Changes (1.0.4)
- The default skin is now Neon (glowing trails and beam effects) instead of Tile, so first-time players get the full visual experience right away. Neon is free, and your existing skin selection is kept as is. Tile is still available in OPTIONS.
- START GAME: RANKED MATCH now shows a small "Recommended!" tag to help new players find online matches.
- CASUAL / RANKED search screen: "PLAY VS AI CHALLENGE WHILE WAITING" also shows the "Recommended!" tag, since you can keep playing while matchmaking looks for an opponent.
Improvements (1.0.3)
- "Join our Discord" on the title screen now opens the Discord desktop app directly when it is installed, so you land on the invite without signing in again. If the app is not installed, the invite opens in your default web browser as before.
- This also resolves the macOS issue where Japanese text input did not work when the invite was opened inside the Steam overlay.
No gameplay or balance changes. Replays remain compatible.
