The free demo for Fire Vow: Dark Fantasy is now available on Steam.
Explore a cursed land, gather resources, and craft the tools and gear you need to survive. Manage hunger and thirst, and shape a journey of your own through the choices you make in each encounter.
This demo lets you experience the core of the game: exploration, resource management, crafting, combat, and choice-driven progression.
Key improvements made for the demo release
* Added a Journey Record to the main lobby, where you can look back on the choices you have made and where they led.
* When an encounter requires payment in cards, you can now choose which ones to hand over.
* Added text that changes in certain scenes after an ending, deepening how the game responds across repeat playthroughs.
* Revised the translation and wording of some flavor text.
Coming in the next update
The next update will improve the tutorial's flow and presentation.
Each character will begin their journey on a unique map that reflects their own background, and from there move naturally into the Cursed Marches, the main stage of the full game.
If you choose to skip the tutorial, the character-specific introduction and unique map segment will be skipped as well, and you will start directly in the Cursed Marches as before.
