Update 0.49 is now live for the Warlapse demo.... I have been working on adding new content and smoothing out the interface, and today brings a major addition to your tactical testing grounds.
What's New in v0.49:
The Normandy Campaign Added: A brand new historical campaign is now playable. Time to test your formations, logistics, and tactical adaptability on the beaches of Normandy.
Skirmish Menu Filters: Navigating your scenarios is now much easier. A filter system has been added to the Skirmish page so you can find exactly what you want to play without any clutter.
Feedback & Free Key Button: I've made the "Feedback + Free Key" button much more visible on the UI. Keep your thoughts and suggestions coming,they directly shape the development.
About Your Demo Mods Your demo mods are not throwaway work. The mod format in this demo is final. The levels, campaigns, and units you build right now are designed to work seamlessly in the full version of Warlapse. Keep your files safe.
A Gift for Modders (One Month After Launch) Warlapse will launch with Steam Workshop support. Thirty days after the 1.0 release, the creators of the 10 most-subscribed Warlapse mods will each receive:
1x Warlapse Key
2x Statecraft: Corrupted Democracy Keys
These keys are meant for you to gift to others. I want the people who put their time and effort into this game to be able to share and play my games with the people around them
The Details:
The Count: Based on public Workshop subscription numbers exactly 30 days after the 1.0 full release on Steam.
Rules: The mod must be your original work and published on the Warlapse Steam Workshop. Only one set of keys will be given per mod.
Contact: Winners will be contacted directly via their Steam profiles.
Fallback: If Workshop support arrives later than the launch date, the 30-day countdown will simply start the moment it goes live. The giveaway will happen no matter what
