We’re happy to introduce a new format for The Bus today: Spotlight.
From now on, Spotlight will be published regularly, each time taking a closer look at a specific topic from The Bus. The series is designed to highlight the game in its many facets and guide you step by step through interesting parts of the current in-game experience.
What is Spotlight?
Spotlight is an ongoing format without numbering. Each entry comes with a concise title and stands on its own. That way, you can jump in at any time without needing to read previous posts.
What can you expect?
In Spotlight, we’ll regularly explore different aspects of The Bus. Sometimes we’ll cover familiar elements, sometimes smaller details that can easily get overlooked in everyday driving. The focus is on content that shapes your experience in the game and may offer you a fresh perspective on familiar routes, situations, and routines.
Starting point: Berlin-Tegel Airport
For our first Spotlight, we’re heading to a location that many Berlin fans closely associate with The Bus: Berlin-Tegel Airport.
In The Bus, Tegel is a distinctive landmark and a key part of the Berlin driving experience. The area around the airport creates a clear sense of arrival and departure and offers a unique atmosphere that feels noticeably different from many inner-city sections.
Tegel plays an important role on the TXL in particular. The combination of urban segments and the airport as a destination gives the route its own character and makes this location a fitting start for the new format.
Your feedback
Spotlight is also intended to be shaped by your interests. If you have topics you’d like to see, feel free to share them in the comments. Which parts of The Bus should we bring into focus next?
