The first console game adaptation of the anime "Apothecary Diaries" has been announced!
This mystery adventure game is developed by Koei Tecmo Games under the Gust brand in collaboration with TOHO Games, a game label by Toho Co., Ltd.
Players will follow Maomao, an apothecary who grew up in the pleasure district with a passionate obsession with poisons and medicines, alongside Jinshi, the handsome and mysterious eunuch of the rear palace. Together, they confront intricate and dangerous incidents that shake the core of the imperial court.
The game features a completely new story inspired by the original concept by Hyuganatsu.

This title reveals a hidden story that unfolds behind the scenes of the main story. As the "Five Mysteries" and the "Five Curses" intertwine, strange phenomena and conspiracies generate chaos across the rear palace, pleasure district, and the capital.
Play as apothecary Maomao of the pleasure district, exploring cycles of investigation that include gathering information, mixing medicines, reviewing clues, and deducing facts. Each phase influences the others, and by using items created through alchemy and negotiation, players piece together clues to uncover the truth.
In addition to "Maomao" and "Jinshi," familiar characters from television anime also make an appearance!
Furthermore, the original character "Guanyu" from this work is also featured.
