Hello Heroes!
Patch notes for 0.7.0
A faster game for everyone
Opening packs, banking adventure loot, learning blueprints, socketing gems, crafting and equipping no longer wait for Steam. With lots of players online these actions used to hang for seconds (or sometimes minutes) at a time. They now finish right away.
New heroes, gear, gems, blueprints and nameplates go straight into your inventory and are ready to use immediately.
New: the Minting page
Find it in the sidebar under Roster -> Minting.
Mint turns a hero or item into a real Steam item you can trade or sell on the Steam Community Market. Only mint what you want to trade.
Pick up to 15 heroes or items and press Mint. They mint in the background while you keep playing, and you get a notification when the batch is done.
Watch them forge on the Steam Forge altar, follow each one in the Steam queue, and cancel anything Steam has not started yet.
The On Steam tab shows everything you have minted. A green marker on an item means it is minted.
Materials, food and supplies are not minted. They trade on the in-game Auction House as before.
Store packs from the gold store, fishing prizes and bundles now stay in your inventory until you mint them. A stack mints up to 15 packs at a time; the rest stay in your bag.
Removed 7 day lock on all items and heroes being minted.
Items you already own
Everything already in your Steam inventory stays a Steam item. Nothing changes for it until you use it.
Using a minted item in game (adding a hero to your party, equipping, socketing, salvaging, ascending, selling it to the Quartermaster or sending it on a Venture) takes it back out of Steam, exactly as before, so it can never be traded while you are using it. When it comes back to your bag it is no longer minted. Mint it again whenever you want to trade it.
If a copy you picked for the hero forge is listed on the Steam Market, the forge now tells you before anything is used up.
Heroes and Gear
New: Auto Equip on the Heroes page. One click puts the best gear in your bag on every party hero, picked for each hero's role.
Heroes no longer take up bag slots. Pull, forge and keep as many copies as you like. Benching a hero only needs free slots for the gear it is wearing.
Hero stat sheets in game and on the website now show every active food bonus (Vitality, Healing Power, Crit, Concentration, Haste and more), not just Power.
You can now ascend three gems into the next tier while an adventure is running.
Auction House
Choose how long a listing stays up: 12, 24 or 48 hours.
Listing now takes a small deposit: 1%, 2% or 4% of your total ask, depending on the duration. You get it back as the stack sells. It is lost if you cancel the listing or it expires.
Unsold stacks now expire at the end of their duration and return to your bag, with a notification.
Adventures and Fishing
Fish After Run no longer cuts your adventure short. Your party keeps running until the adventure ends on its own (its run count, out of energy, a wipe or Return After Run), then heads straight to the dock.
Connection and Maintenance
If the realm goes down or your connection drops, the game no longer opens a separate window. The main window shows a realm status screen with when the realm is expected back, checks again on its own, and puts you right back where you were once it returns.
While the realm is away the taskbar battle and side windows pause, and you can still quit from the screen or the tray at any time.
In-game store UI
Fixed an issue sometimes causing the in-game store to show a broken image
Thanks for playing Taskbar Legends and helping the Realm grow.
