Hello Heroes!
Patch notes for 0.6.8.
Play together
Take eligible adventures into Hardcore as a Team. Its extra energy cost, tougher encounters, and improved rewards apply to both players.
Teams can also tackle dungeons together.
Discord’s live feed now announces a shared run once, names both players, and shows each Party.
Find your Guild
Browse and search the public Guild directory, and compare rosters and adventure records. Check it out here: https://taskbarlegends.com/guilds
Request to join a Guild from the website, or withdraw a pending request.
Members with Invite permission can review applications in-game. Requests include the applicant’s profile and Party, and expire after seven days.
Stay connected
Find friends and send Guild invites by exact Steam display name or SteamID64. Use the SteamID64 when multiple players share a name.
Cancel pending outgoing friend requests.
Collapse Social sections, see unread whisper counts, and close conversations you no longer need.
UI Scale
Set the game interface size from 75% to 200% in Settings.
Adjust combat text size separately.
Smoother, more efficient play
Idle accounts now make fewer background refresh requests, while important state changes still prompt an update.
Combat updates use fewer requests through the middle of a stage and become more frequent near its end, keeping stage transitions timely.
Online presence, energy updates, and live announcements now avoid unnecessary repeated database work.
Fishing and Ventures
Fishing XP now uses 5% of the level-relative Adventure XP reference, up from 1%. It remains based on encounter wait time and is capped at 120 seconds per encounter.
Venture XP now follows each away hero’s own level band at 60% of the corresponding Adventure pace. Reserve heroes no longer receive the active Party’s catch-up bonus; training and successful bonus XP modifiers still apply. Venture results show success and bonus chances separately before revealing the bonus roll and rewards.
Thanks for playing Taskbar Legends and helping the Realm grow.
