Hello, and welcome to the 1.25 content patch for GON: God Of Nothing

Things on the agenda today:
- Immediate FPS fix!
- 3 new items
- New ways to Interact with Roku
- lasting states of Roku
- Quality of life improvements
- Item adjustments

There are no new skins, achievements or unlocks yet, thiss time I wanted to focus more on ways to interact with Roku that had more impact than previous Items.
But let's start with an immediate fix for people who struggle with performance:

I'm working every day on optimizing the game, but one of testers found a quick fix for everyone who's struggling with performance:
Go to library - properties - Launch options, and add "-dx11" (as on image). It will turn off all ray tracing in game, boosting the framerates - it'll look darker, but you can always remove the Launch option if you wish!
I know it's not a permanent fix, but it will take some time to find a good balance between visual quality and performance, in the meantime it should let you enjoy GON!

+ 3 NEW ITEMS +

+ STRONG SIX +

Strong Six Beer will help you get Roku drunk, it's not as strong as Wine, but it's definitely stronger than zero!
Be careful though, if she drinks too much, Roku might trip over Items, but don't worry, you can sober her up with a healthy spank!

+ THE BELL +

Throw it into her mouth, she won't let go of it, helping you keep track of her location with a sound cue and a flaaashy pink light - sound is based on physics, so it'll go through even if she's just looking around - if you find it annoying, just throw anything else at her face - but if it's necessary for your strategy, make sure to avoid apples and carrots!

+ THE SKULL +

Apparently not all of the remains of Scientists were cleared out from this place, throwing the Skull to Roku might help you understand the origin of Golden Apples!

+ QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVEMENTS +

WEAK THROW
Probably the most requested feature (other than straight up p*rn) is live now - a Weak Throw.
Tapping (F) will still throw an item, but at only 5% of your strength, it will be useful when putting things down when Roku's nearby, or when setting up traps - it's not gentle, but you don't have to throw everything you pick up at full strength anymore!

MASK REWORK
Mask Of Roku was very useful in early game, but pretty much useless in late game (due to it's time scaling with player's score)
From now on Mask has pre-determined time of effect throughout the whole run:
- 20 seconds in Eaasy Mode
- 10 seconds in Normal Mode
- 3 seconds in Hard Mode

Other than this some small performance improvements.

Future updates will focus on new skins, achievements, new level and game mode, and as always, grinding into better performance!
We're gonna test a lot of things following weeks to pin-point the solution to some of you having bad FPS even though your PCs are powerful, it seems that these issues aren't tied to raw horsepower of the machine, but more intricate hardware details, but each day there's a little bit of improvement, so stay tuned!

I love You all,
Tom
