Bots: smarter shots, tighter defense
- Bots stop settling for range bombs. Shot selection now accounts for how much time the shot's flight gives a set goalie to react — the model finally agrees with how the real goalie plays. Bots work the puck into the slot, attack the seam, and value one-timers and catching the goalie mid-slide, instead of endlessly wristing from just outside the slot into a set goalie's chest.
- No more blue-line freeze: a wide-open carrier no longer plants at the offensive blue line when there's open ice ahead — skating to the better spot always wins the argument now.
- Defenders actually cover their man. Man coverage used to sag halfway back to the net and track cuts at half speed; defenders now hold a proper goal-side gap on the man himself. Contain defenders also lead a laterally cutting carrier instead of defending where he used to be.
- Bots arrive at their spot instead of blowing through it — off-puck bots now brake into station instead of overshooting and doubling back. Puck chases and check commits still arrive at full speed on purpose (momentum wins those).
- Breakout support flows: when the carrier wheels the boards, the outlet man swings to the middle seam instead of freezing or camping in the carrier's own lane, and the neutral-zone stretch man now actually avoids covered spots (that positioning logic was silently broken).
- Finishers on odd-man rushes stage past the far post for the tap-in feed instead of crashing the front of the net into traffic.
Player builds look like their height now
- Size finally scales the whole skeleton. Height used to only raise the torso and helmet — a Size-5 "6'5"" build stood ~6'1" with 5'10" legs, a stretched trunk, and full-length arms hanging visibly low. The entire frame now scales proportionally about the ice, so every build has the right silhouette, skates planted, hands riding at the same point on every body. Blade reach is effectively unchanged (under 2 cm at either extreme).
- Sprinting has a visible read: longer strides, a deeper sit, and shoulders driving forward for the whole burst — which also makes it an opponent stamina tell: when they stop striding like that, their tank is empty.
- Fixed glove cuffs and elbow joints z-fighting or clipping on high-Hands and mixed bulk builds.
Compatibility
- Network protocol updated — everyone needs this build to play together.
