MachRace is moving closer and closer to release. There is still quiet a bit of work left, but almost all of foundation is done.
In this release:
- Updated engine to 4.16.3. This includes drastic tone mapper update, and speed improvements.
- Added level 2 boss - the drone swarm. Inspired by early arcades like Galaga. There will be more work done on this, feature, but the foundation is there.
- Adjusted game difficulty to make it easier to kill the first boss.
- Level 2 Drone Swarm will theoretically let the player accelerate indefinitely, this will be removed in the future, and might affect scoreboards.
Next release will be coming shortly with Level3 gameplay.
