This is significantly more Compliance than we anticipated.
Thank you to everyone who has played, left a review, filled out the survey, made videos or simply told someone else about KEYKRUNCHER™.
Your feedback is already changing the treatment programme.
We deeply appreciate your participation.
THE FIRST DEMO PATCH
Several issues affecting Compliance, IT, gumball consumption and audio with the pre-alpha demo have now been corrected.
View game pageThe Final Lesson
Final lesson now adds a random 8,000-15,000 Compliance to your target to prevent immediately completing it with excess Compliance from Lesson 5.
Increased Lesson 6 base target from 12,100 to 15,000.
Fixed IT resuming normal movement during the ending sequence.
Fixed IT's end-state not resetting correctly on a new run.
The trial treatment may now be "completed" properly.
Gumballs
Fixed picking up a gumball while already holding another item.
Added inventory checks for gumballs and other non-standard items.
Failed gumball interactions now play the No Interact sound.
Audio
Various audio tonal adjustments.
Fixed mystery key audio looping after being eaten.
Master Volume now correctly affects all SFX and music.
Whispers are now controlled by VO Volume and can be muted.
Added a Music Volume slider for the radio OST.
Splash
Added input disclaimer to splash screen.
Adjusted layout.
REAL KEYBOARD INPUT
Keyboard eating with your actual keyboard is now being tested.
As expected, this was the most requested feature in our survey.
It is not enabled in the main demo yet, but next week you will be able try it!
The main demo continues to use the existing click controls and quota system for now.
Make sure to restart Steam to apply this update.
NOW, RETURN TO EATING YOUR KEYBOARD.
