Hello everyone!
I wanted to share a little about what you can expect from the future of Morhval: Ravenglaire during Early Access.
THE NEXT UPDATE
One thing that currently bothers me is how mechanical some of the quests can feel. This is already being worked on for the next update! NPC requests and jobs the player can accept will have more stories, context and lore behind them, so they feel less like simple tasks and more like parts of the world.
The next update is currently planned for release in approximately two to three weeks.
THE FUTURE
My long-term goal is to expand Ravenglaire to approximately 500 km². However, I do not want to simply make the map larger by repeating the same settlements, structures and activities across more empty space. As the province grows, I also plan to add new structures, quests, jobs, events, dungeons and points of interest, so the expansion feels meaningful.
I also plan to add larger cities, with more services, people, opportunities and activities than the current settlements.
Beyond Ravenglaire, the complete vision for Morhval includes six additional provinces, each with its own landscapes, cultures, laws, conflicts and identity. Some provinces may allow things that are forbidden in others, and the way people live, work and react to the player will change depending on the region.
Future updates will also bring:
More enemy variety
More weapons and equipment
More quests and personal stories
More jobs and ways to earn money
New organizations and activities
Additional dungeons and locations
Deeper existing systems
Performance improvements
Visual and interface improvements
Frequent bug fixes and general polishing
All content added during Early Access will be included without additional charges.
I am also very open to suggestions. If there are systems, quests, professions, enemies, weapons or other features you would like to see, feel free to share your ideas. I cannot promise that every suggestion will be added, but I will always read them and consider what fits the game.
Morhval is intended to grow gradually over time. I do not want to promise rigid release dates for every feature, but I plan to continue improving the game through frequent fixes and larger content updates as development progresses.
Thank you for supporting the project and for helping shape the future of Morhval: Ravenglaire!
