Release Notes

This update introduces new weapon effects and reworks Green Eyes performance without sacrificing the encounter’s signature swarm.

New Weapons

• Added the Flower Round, a procedural spinning projectile with sharp, weapon-like petals.
• After leaving Zenia’s gun, the flower releases its petals one at a time in multiple directions.
• Direct contact cancels the flower and deals impact damage.
• Increased the Flower Round’s firing speed slightly.
• Redesigned the fast round as a distinct procedural circular projectile for clearer identification during combat.

Green Eyes Improvements

• Restored the complete 210-eye formation at every performance level.
• Removed the system that reduced the number of Green Eyes when frame rate dropped.
• Reduced how many eyes can fire simultaneously.
• Added an adaptive cap for active Green Eye projectiles.
• Slower hardware now reduces projectile frequency, glow effects, pupil animation, and background movement instead of removing enemies.
• Optimized the 300-star boss background by lowering its animation frequency when performance struggles.

Quality and Stability

• Updated automated coverage for the new weapons and Green Eyes performance behavior.
• Verified the complete project with 107 passing tests.
