Many players want to play League of Legends and Dota 2 in Ultrawide / Superwide aspect ratios (such as 21:9 or 32:9 / 1920×540) for massive FOV. Here is an explanation of why stretched window hooks cannot be used and how to set up native ultrawide resolutions with 100% accurate mouse clicks.

⚠️ Why external tools cannot fake/remap mouse clicks in stretched windows:

1. Anti-Cheat Systems (Riot Vanguard & VAC): Anti-cheats actively block external tools from intercepting or spoofing cursor coordinates. Any DLL injection into the game process risks permanent account bans.

2. Different Mouse Aiming Mechanics: Unlike FPS games where mouse aiming is centered, MOBA games calculate 3D raycasting from the cursor directly using Windows hardware coordinates (GetCursorPos). If an external window is forcefully distorted, the game engine continues to sample the true physical cursor, causing click misalignment.

✅ How to get native 32:9 / 21:9 with 100% pixel-perfect clicks: The best and safest way is to let the game itself run natively in your desired resolution:

For League of Legends:

1. Navigate to: C:\\Riot Games\\League of Legends\\Config\[/c]

2. Open game.cfg with Notepad.

3. Under the section, set:

   Width=1920

   Height=540

   WindowMode=1

4. Save and close the file.

5. Right-click game.cfg → Properties → check Read-only → click Apply / OK (this prevents LoL from resetting the resolution).

For Dota 2:

1. In Steam, right-click Dota 2 → Properties...

2. In the General tab under Launch Options, enter:

   -w 1920 -h 540 -windowed -noborder

How WinGrid helps: Once your game is running in its native ultrawide mode:

• Use WinGrid to automatically center the window on your monitor.

• Enable Black Bars to darken the desktop around your game.

• Save your custom layout using the + Save size & pos button!
