🔧 Chassis Modules — Tiers I–III
- The low slot is no longer empty. Eight families, three tiers each, 24 modules. Nine hulls have a low slot; the Talon II, Burrow II and Wraith II have two.
- Each one buys a number by spending another. Hull Brace: hull for speed. Thrust Coil: speed for cargo. Hold Frame: cargo for speed. Charge Lattice: capacitor for speed. Recharge Array: shield regen for cargo. Sensor Array: sensor range for speed. Ordnance Frame: weapon damage for capacitor. Ore Sifter: mining yield for cargo.
- The fitting screen shows both halves as signed percentages. A Hold Frame III is +35% cargo and -12% speed.
- They stack, and the penalties stack with them. Two Hull Brace IIs are +10% hull twice and -5% speed twice.
- They are passive. Nothing to toggle, no key, no capacitor draw.
- Cargo bonuses and penalties move the general hold only. The ore hold is untouched.
- No skill gates them. Research each one under Manufacturing at 180 / 420 / 840 XP by tier, then build it. Nothing sells them.
- Craft quality changes the size of the trade, not its direction. A better copy has a bigger bonus and a smaller penalty.
- Sensor range still stops at 20 km. A Sensor Array pushes you to the cap and no further. On a Bastion II with a Targeting Computer III that is the last 500 m of a nominal 2,730 m. Every other fit gets the whole bonus.
💎 Craft Quality
- The quality band now shows almost everywhere an item does. Wreck and cache loot, loot toasts, the inventory and corp-storage right-click menus, corp storage GLOBAL, the JOBS panel, market fill toasts, remote buy and delivery toasts, trade offers, killmail fit rows, the HUD module bar and the HUD ammo readout.
- Looted modules keep their band. The server used to strip it before the loot grid ever saw it.
- The fitting card names the band in words. It was a coloured diamond and nothing else.
- Manufacturing says what you will build this at. The blueprint detail pane reads it off your fabrication level.
- The Sell form names the band you are listing. Selling a stack that spans bands lists one order per band, and the form says so before you commit.
- Nothing about any item changed. The bands are Crude, Standard, Refined and Flawless. They apply to modules and ammo at tier I and up. Anything with no stamp reads Crude, which is what it has been operating at since August 8.
🏪 Market & Economy
- Your market orders belong to the system, not to the spot you placed them. MY ORDERS lists every order you hold in that system from any station or outpost in it, and cancel works from all of them. Orders placed at one station used to drop out of MY ORDERS the moment you left that area, and the cancel button on them did nothing.
- MY ORDERS reads correctly inside a rift. You see your orders in the system you are in. You can cancel them once you leave the rift.
- Money owed to you inside a system reaches you anywhere in it, including inside a rift. Buying a listed structure no longer refuses because the seller is in another cell, in a rift, or logged out.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed a module losing its build quality when a hull change left it no slot. It came back to your hold as Crude.
- Fixed goods deposited toward a structure that no longer exists being destroyed. They wait instead, and come back when that structure's storage is reachable again, or move to the system's main station.
🔩 Misc
- Blueprint: Shield Amplifier II is now Blueprint: Shield Extender II, and Blueprint: Pulse Laser III is now Blueprint: Laser III. Both match the module they build.
- The Warp Bubbles skill (Action → Tackle) is now Web Bubbles. There is no warp in StarFrame.
- Flares and sensor jammers only matter against other players. Nothing NPC-controlled fires missiles.
Restart Steam to pick up the update. Until it has, the new low-slot modules read as internal ids in your lists.
