Winter in Sandpiper Point isn't just a seasonal palette swap. Starting with this build, the lake actually freezes over — and you can walk right out onto it.
That opens up a whole new way to fish: instead of casting from the shore or a dock, you'll be drilling holes straight through the ice with an auger and dropping a line into water that's otherwise completely sealed off for the season. Some fish only show up this way, so the frozen lake isn't just a visual treat — it's a genuinely different fishing spot with its own rhythm.
