This update grew out of the first public feedback received for The Last Brazilian. We appreciate the direct review: it helped us identify issues that were affecting readability and the opening minutes of the game.
READABILITY AND INTERFACE
• We increased font sizes and improved text contrast.
• We reorganized the Soul Market and event panels so titles, descriptions, levels, and costs each have their own space.
• We fixed text that extended beyond button boundaries or overlapped decorative elements.
• We improved the readability of information on the character selection screen.
• Pending destinations now use a neutral presentation. The green color and “OK” marker appear only after a destination is truly completed.
JOURNEY AND CUBE
• Every new journey now begins with three lives.
• The first two defeats return the player to the Cube without erasing journey progress. The journey ends only after all lives are lost.
• A new game now begins with character selection before moving to the Cube.
• We fixed cases where destinations could appear completed after cancelling a stage, returning to the menu, or reloading the game.
• The Cube now clearly displays act progress and remaining lives.
GAMEPLAY
• We adjusted jump and fall speeds to make movement more responsive.
• We limited the Dreamer’s repeated aerial movement so the attack can no longer keep the character flying across a stage.
• We fixed the Main Menu button in the pause screen.
• We corrected movement and fall-recovery problems in affected stages.
This update focuses on clarity, consistency, and respect for the player’s time. We will continue following community feedback and improving The Last Brazilian.
Thank you for playing and for helping us make the game better.
