Lava creeps closer while you work. Water floods into tunnels the moment you open them. Gas pockets sit quiet until something sets them off. Dig out the wrong support and the rock above you comes down.
And somewhere in the dark, something's moving too.
🔦 Keep an eye on your light
Your helmet lamp keeps you alive down there, but the battery doesn't last forever. Once it dies, flares are all you've got to see what's ahead.
🕷️ Figure out what's hunting you
Not every creature behaves the same way. Some just wander. Some charge straight at you. Some follow.
Learn their patterns, read their movements, and make every step count.
🦴 Dig for fossils
Ten fossils are buried somewhere beneath the volcano. Find them, haul them back to the museum, and put what you earn toward better gear for deeper runs.
💀 Every death teaches you something
Die, and Tunnelborn plays back your final moments so you can see exactly what went wrong. Then go back in and try again.
