# Version 0.1.3β

Version 0.1.3β is now available.

This update introduces a new opening sequence, improves character creation and gameplay flow, rebalances the Channeling system, and fixes numerous multiplayer and gameplay issues.

The main changes are listed below.

## New Features / Improvements

• Added an opening cinematic that now plays when starting a new game. The title-screen attract movie has been removed.

• Added an introductory guide before creating a new squad member.

• Updated the character creation background to a space scene where Yomihara, Toyoashihara, and Takamagahara rotate around one another.

• Training equipment can now be changed at the base. Changes are synchronized with everyone in the same multiplayer session.

## Gameplay Improvements

• The action selection menu now reopens after attacking if the unit still has actions remaining.

• Channeling now has a small effect even with Healing Level 0.

• Template selections are now reflected immediately when opening the confirmation screen.

• Reordered the Template section to match the Species section.

• Battle Program logs now display all actions using their Japanese display names.

## Balance Adjustments

• Reworked the Recognition-based perk that reduces Focus loss. Prevented the reduced damage from being redirected into Condition damage, and increased its effectiveness to Recognition × 2%.

• Fixed guests' manuals closing when the host opened the manual.

• Fixed the map remaining open for guests viewing mission records.

• Fixed standing/prone animations not synchronizing correctly.

Combat

• Adjusted the Spider-type enemies appearing in Battle S1-3.

General

• Fixed the first template appearing selected even when nothing had been chosen.

• Fixed newly created squad members not starting with full Focus, Will, or Channeling counts.
