Hey Players,
These updates are a bit more frequent than I'd normally have in mind, but I'd rather not wait until NextFest for some of these fixes. Many thanks to the players who've identified these issues on various settings, resolutions, etc and apologies for getting used to some of them on my end!
This update has some fixes for the tutorial, resolution, settings and quality of life.
Patch Notes
Mancalero now launches in fullscreen — and Settings has a new Display Mode selection (Fullscreen/Borderless/Windowed) and Resolution option if you want to change it.
Fixed the Settings menu getting cut off on some screen sizes/aspect ratios and the scrollbar that was inconsistent
Fixed the Compendium resizing/jumping around when switching between tabs.
Alt-tabbing away now pauses everything — music, SFX, and mid-animation marbles all freeze properly instead of just the music.
Steal animations are slower and easier to see — you'll be able to better catch the marbles moving now. It might be extra painful if your marbles get captured though!
The tutorial waits for the current move to finish before showing the next tip, so you can actually watch and read what just happened (since gamers always read the tutorials right?)
Improved music crossfade between track loops, instead of a hard cut.
Chess player moves are a bit easier to follow.
