Multiplayer is here
The climb was always meant to be shared. Bring friends along, race them to the
top, and fight over the good guns on the way.
Climb together, or against each other
Host a game or join one through Steam, and pull your friends in with an invite.
Everyone starts on their own platform, so nobody gets shoved off the ledge
before the run even begins.
Fall and you keep watching. Follow whoever is still climbing and see how it ends
instead of staring at a loading screen.
When the last climber drops, everyone lands on the score screen together and
heads back to the lobby as a group, ready for the next run.
Name tags keep everyone straight in a scramble, and a death alert tells you the
moment somebody drops out.
Classic and Horde each keep their own leaderboard, so your best runs stay where
they belong.
More than 25 weapons
Pistols, SMGs, shotguns, rifles, snipers and heavy weapons.
The higher you climb, the better the gear that turns up on platforms, which
makes every pickup a reason to fight your friends for it.
Enemies play fair now
Climbing high used to turn platforms into walls of enemies. That's fixed.
There is now a hard limit of three enemies on any platform, no matter how high
you get or which mode you're in.
Horde pressure builds steadily instead of exploding once you gain some altitude.
And you'll never get dropped into a crowd empty-handed. If a platform fills up
with enemies and nothing else spawned, a weapon is guaranteed to be waiting for
you.
Nobody gets left behind
The rising death line now follows the climber at the bottom rather than the one
in front, so falling behind doesn't mean getting swallowed while your friend
races ahead.
Grab a friend and get climbing. We'd love to hear how it plays.
