🏴☠️ Playtest Update v1.5.3 🏴☠️
Three releases in one. The playtest is open, and a key costs nothing.
The art replacement has started
The Captain Picker and the Captain Chamber are redesigned, and the player sloop is repainted. The picker above is the new one. Plenty more to come.
The Sea Cave, redesigned
Twenty hand-built mazes. Find the treasure, then get out while the roof comes down behind you. Bring fire shot, it is what you light the way with.
Ten new languages, none of them English
The whole game, not just the menus. This is the main ask this round. Nothing gets ticked on the store page until somebody who actually speaks it has read it.
Captain signature attacks
Every captain has one attack, on a 60 second cooldown. Marisol throws fire off the bow. Voss charges. Sable fires a ring of eight. Reyes calls the lightning down. Rourke boards a crippled ship and takes it whole. Each one has a passive kit underneath that changes the whole voyage.
Pirate captains answer
All six named captains got signature attacks and passive skills of their own: grapples, powder kegs, burning water, a whirlpool under your bow, a shot that cannot miss, and boarders who leave with your gold.
Your captain talks
A painted bust and a slate plate bottom left, five captains with five voices, speaking right through the voyage. The Chandler runs his mouth back at you across the Trading Post.
Controls, rebuilt
Rebind every key and every button. Controller support is fixed. Mouse steering added as an Accessibility option.

Playtest keys are free. Join the Discord and ask for one.
Bug reports go in the #bug-reports forum there, and there is a feedback box in the game itself now.
