This update brings a brand-new place to hang out between runs, a full cinematic makeover for the menus, and the first languages beyond English. Here is what changed.
The Spoils Den · a new minigame hangout
A scavengers' hideout has opened up on the area select screen. Duck in between runs to kill time, test your hands, and pry open spoil crates.
- Three crates a day. The den crew runs a limited number of crates past anyone with steady hands. Win a game, pry a crate. Crates reset every day, so come back tomorrow when you run dry.
- Two games of skill.
- Torn Memory · piece a torn photograph from before the fall back together before the lantern burns out.
- Scrap Rush · grab every spoil that surfaces in the junk before it sinks, and keep your hands off the rats.
- Crack the crate. Most crates spill resources, some are stuffed with junk, and a rare few hide an Adrenaline Shot that arms a damage boost for your very next run.
- Play sharp. Losing a game wastes the crate, so make every attempt count.
Cinematic menu overhaul
The front end got a full visual pass.
- New title screen with a moody animated backdrop and drifting smoke.
- Reworked pause and settings menus with cinematic chrome and a consistent new button style throughout.
- Cleaner, more readable layouts across the area select, map, and perks screens.
Now playable in three languages
Deckalypse now speaks more than English.
- Full translations added for Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, covering the interface, cards, enemies, perks, lore, and combat banter.
- Switch languages live from the settings menu · no restart required.
- A large polish pass tightened up the Brazilian Portuguese wording across the board.
Fixes and polish
- Smoothed out damage number readability in combat.
- Various UI and layout cleanups across menus and run screens.
