Roll dice, win gold, build your loadout, and survive the taverns.
The Steam store page for Roll to Ruin is now live! It's a medieval dice roguelite that blends classic Farkle mechanics with deckbuilding-style progression — made by one person.
What's it about?
Each round, you bring 6 dice to the table and roll for points by Farkle rules, or farkle! You're up against NPC opponents in a test of skill and luck; first to the target score wins.
39 dice: Every die has a different probability distribution — some lean toward 1, some toward 5, some toward triples. Pick 6 to bring into a run, like building a deck.
34 badges: Earned one per win, stacking within the run. From rerolls and bust protection to straight score multipliers, badge combos define how each run plays out.
Economy loop: Win and your entry fee doubles back; lose and you walk away empty-handed. Spend earned gold to pull new dice from chests — the longer you play, the stronger your loadout gets.
7 taverns: From Dawn Inn to The Undercroft, opponents get tougher, stakes get higher, and target scores climb further. Can't beat a table? Walk away with your gold, upgrade your dice, and come back stronger.
Roll to Ruin launches on Steam August 20. I'll keep sharing dev updates, gameplay breakdowns, and Demo news here.
