A tutorial and quality-of-life pass across the whole game, plus a fix to Chapter 1's Challenge Mode scoring.
New:
- Guided tutorials now automatically turn off when you enter Challenge Mode, No-Queue Challenge, or Hard difficulty and above. Turning them back on manually there now shows a warning that they won't play out the same at higher difficulty.
- The world map's tip box is now clickable and cycles through the full tip list.
- A drone that would be killed by your currently previewed or queued attack now shows a kill marker.
- Leaving drones behind at an extraction zone now pulses the zone outline and asks for confirmation first.
Changes:
- The hand-tuned combat aids used to teach early Chapter 1 mechanics (softened enemy stats, a pre-charged limit gauge) now also apply on Normal difficulty, matching guided tutorials, which already run on both Easy and Normal.
- Dialog boxes now auto-size to fit their text instead of adding a scrollbar.
- Removed a confusing "no heal" note from Iron Curtain's tooltips and tutorials. It never implied otherwise, so the callout only raised the question.
- Added a tutorial callout for mines the first time they appear (Chapter 1, Stage 6).
- Unified the wording of Katyusha, Nadeshiko, and Maria's status-screen bios.
- Corrected the in-game "How to Play" screen: button-label wording now matches the default Queue-mode controls, the limit gauge is now correctly described as filling from both dealing and taking damage, and active skill unlocks now list all four levels (4, 7, 14, and 17) instead of just two.
Bug fixes:
- A move that completed an extraction objective without an accompanying attack no longer silently failed to register the win.
- World-map rank badges now appear immediately for a stage that earns its first rank while the map is already open.
- Fixed garbled or missing characters in tutorial text on the web (itch.io) build.
- Fixed a queue-mode bug where an unexecuted queued action could carry over incorrectly across a sector or stage transition.
- Fixed a visual overlap between the new Android landscape-lock toggle and the chapter navigation buttons.
- Recalculated Chapter 1's Challenge Mode scoring targets (Stages 4-9): a bug had the solver computing them against weakened tutorial-only enemy stats instead of full Challenge-strength ones.
