The custom map feature we teased is now available in beta! 🎉

You can now build your own maps and download maps made by

other players.

■ What you can try in this beta

🛠️ In-game map editor

Place objects freely and edit their position, rotation, scale,

and detailed properties. Hold Ctrl to snap to the grid, or hold V

to snap to nearby objects. You can jump into a test run at any

time while building.

🌍 Community maps

Upload and share your finished maps, and download maps made by

others. Browse by latest, popular, or rating — and please leave

a rating on maps you've played. You can also report maps that

have issues.

👥 Solo & multiplayer support

Custom maps work both for solo practice and for racing with

friends. Steam and STOVE players can play together in the same

lobby.

■ About the beta

Custom maps are still in beta. Some issues will only show up in real

play, and we'll keep refining the feature and its usability based on

your feedback.

During the beta, uploaded map data may be reset, and changes to the

map format may require re-saving existing maps. We recommend keeping

a backup of maps you care about.

If you run into anything odd while building, or have ideas for the

editor, please post in the pinned [Bug Reports] / [Feedback]

threads. We can't wait to see what you build.
