Thank you for your interest in Verdant Requiem.
The Steam demo is currently under review in preparation for release.
We apologize to everyone who has been waiting for the demo and regret that we are not yet able to make it available.
Although this is not directly related to the Steam version, we have also submitted a standalone PC demo to the freeware game distribution site Freem! in order to introduce the game to a wider audience. This version is currently under review as well.
Please note that compatibility between the standalone PC version and the Steam version is not officially supported, particularly with regard to features such as achievements.
While awaiting the review results, we are continuing to refine the main game.
At present, we are primarily working on polishing and replacing event illustrations and selected video sequences.

The images shown above are screenshots from short in-game cinematic sequences created with the assistance of AI tools.
To enhance immersion without disrupting the pace of the game, each sequence is planned to be approximately five to seven seconds long.
We are currently aiming to release the full version in 2026, with a tentative target window of July or August.
However, the release schedule may be adjusted depending on the timing of the demo release and the feedback we receive afterward, in order to deliver the game in the best possible form.
Our intention to make the game available as soon as reasonably possible for everyone who has been waiting remains unchanged.
We will continue preparing for release with care.
Thank you for your continued support of Verdant Requiem.
