Hello again, it’s important to me that Wands and Whiskers is a fully Steam Deck compatible game. There’s nothing better than sitting down with a cozy game and some cozy weather on the couch! I have made sure to meet all the requirements Steam publicly lists for Steam Deck compatibility, but I’m unable to ask for the actual Steam stamp of approval at this moment. If you have a Steam Deck and want to leave me some feedback, I’d be super appreciative!

The game itself is also pretty lightweight. I’m consistently hitting 90fps on my OLED Steam Deck, but I’ve otherwise only been able to guesstimate the minimum requirements for PC/Mac. I already did a couple rounds of optimization on the pathfinding algorithms for the cats, but if you’re having performance issues, please let me know your specs (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS, and shelter population) and I’ll 1) see how I can further optimize the game and 2) update the minimum specs as we go.
