Ahoy adventurers!

Work on the next major update for Chest & Compass: Isles of Vaultara is underway. Version 1.3, the Crew & Cargo Update, will focus on giving expeditions more continuity between runs.

Planned highlights include:

• permanent crew roster and roster management,
• recruitable rescued survivors,
• individual character XP, levels, and stat points,
• guest companions who can help during expeditions,
• character equipment persisting between successful runs,
• temporary boat cargo,
• item deliveries with help from Franek, our parrot,
• inventory and storage flow improvements,
• balance changes and wave tuning.

Update 1.3 is still in development, but the main systems are already taking shape. We’ll share more details in future posts.
