🧭 "Forward Only" Locomotion Mode
New Connection Source: Added "Forward Only" input source to the Input tab. When selected, tilt/direction detection is completely bypassed, and movement is directed strictly forward, with the speed controlled dynamically by foot steps (via the Steps tab configuration). Axis mapping and alignment settings are automatically hidden to keep the UI clean.
Quick Setup Wizard Integration: Added "Headset Steps (Forward Only)" and "Leg Steps Only (Forward Only)" to the Quick Setup wizard. These new profiles come with dedicated guide diagrams, provide real-time leg data visualization right on the first screen, and automatically skip the direction alignment step to speed up configuration.
⚙️ VR Toggle Bindings & "Touch/Hold to Start"
New Activation Mode: Added "Touch/Hold to Start" activation mode to the Startup tab (as the opposite of "Touch/Hold to Pause"). When active, tracking runs only while touching or holding down the configured button, and immediately stops when released.
SteamVR Outputs: Unlocked the "Left Thumbstick Touch" input capability for SteamVR Hook and SteamVR Controller (Virtual Treadmill).
👣 Steps Tab UI Layout
Axis Filtering Relocation: Moved the Axis Filtering settings panel (both single leg and dual leg settings) out of the Advanced Settings section. It is now visible in the left panel of the Steps tab at all times, right below the Speed Curve graph, for quicker and more accessible configuration.
🕶️ FlatVR Improvements
Screen Curvature in SteamVR: Restored the ability to curve the screen when running in SteamVR mode.
Solid Color & Borders: Added a new "Solid Color" background mode alongside Ambilight. You can now set exact 0-255 RGB values for the backdrop and configure a customizable black border thickness around the virtual screen.
Custom AI Depth Models: Added a dropdown to select between different custom AI depth estimation models, with dynamic visibility for AI resolution settings.
3D Background Fixes: Fixed an issue where the ambient background was not correctly rendering and curving when Pseudo-3D (Depth) mode was active in SteamVR.
🛠️ Plugin Diagnostics & Automation
Automated Driver Diagnostics: Added a fully automated "Run Diagnostics" button to the SteamVR Hook and SteamVR Controller (Virtual Treadmill) plugin tabs. This tool automatically verifies active VR controller handles, tests button interception, and checks thumbstick overrides. Idle background data spam has been aggressively filtered out to provide a clean "Live Listener" output during troubleshooting.
Version Bumps: SteamVR Hook driver updated to version 1.8. SteamVR Controller (Virtual Treadmill) updated to version 1.1.
