New
Project Poltergeist - a galaxy score attack on the arcade machine. Feed everything you hit into a black hole and see how far you get before the telescope window closes.
The Rift - Poltergeist's boss. It arrives with a neutrino, tears four wormholes into the corners of the board, and throws the neutrino between them.
Photon Charge - every Burst hit fires chain lightning that leaps to the nearest bubble. Each extra copy adds another jump.
Painter - The Drill drops a second pile of paint a second after the first. Each extra copy adds another.
Cosmos - a galaxy blooms across the whole screen and feeds the black hole for ten seconds.
Cowan-Reines - four neutrinos arrive at once and orbit the black hole.
Booster Never Dies, Astra Flash and Harmony - three more ways to bend a run.
Your lobby monitor is alive. When the GameBoy is off, its screen drifts with bubbles and your crosshair instead of sitting black.
Project Poltergeist Runs that outlast the power-up pool pay you. Once there is nothing left to pick, every full power bar sends a purple bubble into your Crit Rate and XP Gain.
Changes
Click Rate finally reads like every other stat. A card that promises +25% now moves the stat by 25 points instead of half that. Your clicking speed has not changed, only the number you were reading.
Sniper now multiplies what your crosshair hits. It used to quietly multiply every point of XP in the run, including chains, orbs and pulses. It now pays where you aim, on every bubble type and The Core. Your XP Gain card no longer folds Sniper into it, so the card tells the truth about everything else.
Sniper no longer pays for its own slowdown twice. Neutrino hits were shrinking because Sniper slows your click rate. A neutrino hit now pays the full bonus.
Genie Lamp says what it does. The wish raises your total Crit Rate or XP Gain by 20%, not 10%.
Fixes
The Genie's pickup wish barely stopped time. A pickup multicast that rolled Chronos gave you one second instead of the full chain. It now pays every echo.
Bubbles touching Drill paint were being missed. Giants and orbiting neutrinos could sit in paint without ever powering up. Every bubble type now reacts when its body touches paint. On a Flash that boost now fades after ten seconds instead of lasting the rest of the run.
Performance
Busy boards run cleaner. Flash and Neutrino bubbles were rebuilding hundreds of animations every second during heavy play. They now run as direct math with none of that churn, and they look exactly the same.
The black hole's disk was rebuilt and no longer shimmers.
