Alright everyone, hm_gamejam_v2 is officially done, and what a wild weekend it's been! You absolutely delivered on the Kaizen theme of continuous improvement.

We saw 25 scripts submitted, involving 49 unique players, and 109 votes cast for 8430 total points. Huge shoutout to the 35 first-time jammers who jumped in!

You created everything from nethack-like games to golf, gambling, cookie clickers and more, one incremental change at a time. We even got a tattoo out of it! Those last-minute uploads and script runs were CLUTCH.

Check Out All the Submissions!

If you haven't had a chance to explore them yet, you can find all the submitted games and scripts here:

scripts.register { show: "list" }

Take some time to jump into these: Play them, break them, and maybe give some feedback to your fellow jammers. These games are cool and a ton of fun. Also, the glam rewards generated by jam points are now available-- jump in-game to get your goodies! Find the reward hashes at scripts.register, available for EVERYONE!

Thanks to Our Community!

Please give a HUGE round of applause to everyone who submitted, played, voted, shared, or otherwise participated! Your energy made this jam RAD. Running these events is a blast because of how engaged, creative, and supportive this community is. You've all helped make this event and space awesome for anyone curious about creating, building, and bringing ideas to life!

We also want to give a huge shoutout for your incredible show of support in helping us hype the launch of Kaizen: A Factory Story for our friends over at Coincidence Games! But also, it's out now~

Buy Kaizen: A Factory Story on Steam! It’s RAD!

What's Next?

You poured your hearts, souls and memes into this jam, but the ACTION is over for the time being, so take a breather, get some rest if you need, and we'll be here whenever you've got the juice again.

We hope you had fun building, because we had a great time hosting. We'll definitely be doing a hm_gamejam_v3, and we've already written down ways to make the next one even better!

If you love hackmud, consider becoming a supporter! We need your help! Just like the concept of kaizen, every dollar is one incremental step forward towards our goal of financial sustainability.

We also gave out a bunch of hackmud keys to our other friend organization, Dames4Games. They will be streaming hackmud this upcoming weekend as part of their month-long fundraising effort for their non-profit, which creates spaces where everyone feels valued and celebrated in the gaming world, highlighting the amazing contributions of women and femme-identifying individuals in the game industry. They're also looking for people to stream to fundraise for them, too! If you're a streamer and would like to sign up, that's rad! If you stream hackmud, we'll rally and all jump on your stream.

Otherwise, stay tuned for more community events, updates and news! We've got a bunch cookin' up!
