Under Tower Idle – Major Content Update
Hello everyone!
We're excited to introduce one of the biggest updates to Under Tower Idle so far!
This update brings a completely new Hero Equipment system, expanded Dungeon rewards, and a brand-new Maritime system that opens up a whole new way to explore, fight, and collect resources.
There's a lot to discover, so let's dive in!
⚔️ Dungeon – New Soldier Equipment Drops
Dungeon progression has received a major expansion.
You can now obtain the equipment and resources required to train your soldiers directly from Dungeon floors.
Dungeon floors can now drop:
🍖 Food
🛡️ Armor Materials
⚔️ Weapon Materials
The quality and availability of these materials depends on your progression.
In lower Cycles and earlier Dungeon floors, you'll have a higher chance of finding lower-tier soldier materials.
As you progress deeper into the Dungeon, you'll have better opportunities to obtain higher-tier materials needed for stronger soldiers.
This creates a much more natural progression between Dungeon exploration and army development.
🩸 New Dungeon Enemy Class – Savage
A brand-new enemy class, Savage, has been added to the Dungeon!
Savage enemies are a new threat you can encounter while progressing through Dungeon floors, adding more variety and challenge to your Dungeon runs.
Be prepared to face these dangerous enemies as you push deeper into the Dungeon! ⚔️
🦸 New Hero Equipment System
Heroes now have their own equipment!
While exploring Dungeon floors, you can discover unique:
⚔️ Hero Weapons
🛡️ Hero Armor
💍 Hero Accessories
Each piece of equipment comes with one of four rarity levels:
Normal → Rare → Epic → Legendary
The deeper you go into the Dungeon, the stronger the equipment you can discover.
Equipment power also scales with both Dungeon Floor and Cycle, meaning there will always be something more powerful to hunt for as you progress.

🌊 New Maritime System
A completely new system has arrived in Under Tower Idle!
Set sail and explore the seas to discover new islands, collect valuable resources, and earn large amounts of Gold.
The Maritime system provides new materials that are especially important for upgrading your Hero equipment.
🚢 Automated Voyages
You decide how your ship operates.
You can:
Select which soldiers automatically board the ship.
Keep the ship running continuously through automated voyages.
Or take direct control and explore the sea maps yourself.
🏝️ Discover Different Islands
The islands you encounter at sea come in different types.
Different island types provide different reward multipliers, allowing you to choose which destinations are worth taking on.
Explore, fight, and decide how much risk you're willing to take for better rewards.
🚢 Upgrade Your Ship
Your ship can now be upgraded using materials obtained from the islands you discover at sea.
Ship upgrades can improve several aspects of your voyages, including:
👥 Increase the number of soldiers your ship can carry.
⚡ Increase sailing speed.
💰 Increase the amount of loot you receive.
🛡️ Reduce the damage your soldiers take during island battles.
The stronger your ship becomes, the further you can explore and the greater the rewards you can pursue.
🔨 Upgrade Your Hero Equipment
The Maritime system also introduces two new materials that can be used to upgrade Hero Weapons and Armor.
Hero equipment can now be upgraded up to +5.
However, upgrading isn't always guaranteed.
Higher-rarity equipment requires more valuable resources and has a higher chance of failing during an upgrade.
So think carefully before investing your rare materials!

This update expands the world of Under Tower Idle in a major way.
Dungeon progression now feeds directly into your army and Hero development, while the new Maritime system provides another path toward powerful equipment, Gold, and resources.
There is much more planned for the future, and this update lays the groundwork for many of the systems we want to continue expanding.
