Hey all,

The demo has just been updated again with the following:

New Content

• 12 new buildings have been added to the demo.

• Pipes have been added. These attach to any building they are connected to, and automatically move liquids or gases throughout all pipes connected. Pipes bends, vats and junctions have also been added.

• 30 new upgrades have been added.

• Several weapons have been reworked to make combat feel better.

• Several weapons now have an upgrade chain of weapons. For instance, the missile launcher can now be upgraded to launch a stream of fast missiles, a volley of multiple missiles at once, or one giant slow moving bunker buster missile. Each weapon in the game has a few upgrades each.

• Salt has been added to the pool of spawn-able resources. Recipes have been given to several buildings to utilize it. It can be used to create sodium, or chlorine based acids, creating a whole new chain to create batteries and other high tier items

More Rogue lite

• The game has been rebalanced a bit to change runs even more. Less buildings are given to the player at start, and instead the player starts with 3 free blueprint unlocks. The pool of free blueprints includes all blueprints previously given to the player, as well as several new unique buildings. In the full release, each biome will have a few unique buildings that they add to this pool.

Specialization Reworks

• Several specializations have had unique mechanics introduced to make gameplay with each one more unique

• Many of Voltaic's buildings now scale in power based on the total amount of power stored in Capacitors. Build a giant capacitor system to empower your arc turrets to shoot further, faster and to arc between more enemies.

• Graphene buildings now use a 'Pressure' mechanic. Most of their buildings are themed around pressing materials, and now this is represented with a pressure gauge. Pipe any gas into the building to increase the pressure, making the crafting speed of the building increase. The exact numbers and ratios I am still toying around with, but hopefully it encourages some pretty unique designs.

• In the last update drones received a face lift with new logistics buildings. Drones now also has a suite of buildings that create "Drone buffs". Create drone scouts, spotter and researchers to provide passive buffs to your entire base.

• Work has been done on several specializations for the full release (Recycling, petro carbonics, biotics and caustics to name a few.) Look forward to more info about those ahead of the full release.

QOL

• The demo has been restructured to ease the player in better. Difficulty and unlocks have been scaled to give more time for players to get their bearings.

• The glossary page has been updated to provide more info

• Several tooltips and ui element have been updated

Bug Fixes

• Fixed enemy pathing issues

• Fixed several generation issues.

• Many more misc bugs, too many to count.

Thanks so much for playing, and please let me know if you have any bugs, suggestions or feedback.
