Hello everyone!
Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Hollow Descent.
Throughout development, I've gradually been discovering what I want the game to look and feel like visually, and I've decided to take an important step: I'm starting a complete overhaul of the game's visual direction.
My goal is to give Hollow Descent a much more personal and cohesive visual identity, putting significantly more hands-on work into every visual element of the game.
The protagonists, the world, the combat, and other visual elements will progressively adopt this new direction. Portraits and narrative scenes will also move towards a more illustrated and personal style.
To start things off, here's Finn, one of the game's protagonists, showing his previous design and his new one:

This change will take time. I'm developing Hollow Descent on my own and in my spare time, so this will be a gradual process taking place over the coming months.
From now on, I'll be sharing more progress as the visual overhaul continues alongside the development of the game.
This is only the beginning.
Thank you for being here and for following the development of Hollow Descent.
