The Bone Tower Content Update is now live for the SpringTale demo.

This update more than doubles the amount of content previously available in the demo, with a whole new biome to explore, new bosses, enemies, items, skills and a bunch of new systems.

What's new?

• Bone Tower — a new procedural tower biome, along with its hub town, Bonehaven

• 3 new bosses, each with their own fights and abilities

• 5 new enemies

• 2 new tiers of gear and weapons

• 20+ new skills

• New gear affix system

• Pet system — all current pets can be claimed for free from the Cash Shop

• V1 gamepad support — SpringTale can now be played without needing a keyboard and mouse

• NPC dialogue system

• Town fast travel — speak to Momo the courier bird in Spring Town or Bonehaven

• Stat resets — speak to Sergeant Beefwinkle in Spring Town or Bonehaven

• A new intro cutscene explaining the lore of the game (very cool)

• Cash Shop — everything is free to claim for now

• Secret rare cosmetic hat drops

• New lighting system

• Sound effects overhaul

A small development update

This one was really a labour of love on my behalf, and it's taken me the past few months to get it all together.

Thanks to everyone who's been patient waiting for the update, and especially to those who have continued playing, testing and giving me feedback while I work on the game.

With Bone Tower finished, SpringTale has now reached roughly 50% of the content planned for the 1.0 release.

There's still plenty more to come, but for now I hope you enjoy Bone Tower!
